Statement
I am a little uncomfortable analyzing my work as it minimizes the mystery of the creation process. I become completely absorbed in the joy of painting and prefer not to think too hard about the mechanics.
A love of nature and all that it encompasses -- the land, water, critters and of course the people are my inspiration; therefore, I enjoy painting a little of each. I find it refreshing to change subject matter from time to time -- from landscapes to still life to animals, (particularly horses and dogs). I am especially drawn to water and find that it appears in many of my landscapes.
I feel blessed to be able to do something that brings me such pleasure and hopefully brings pleasure to others as well.
